- MMikeVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur party of four arrived just as The Blackbird opened at 5, as we had plans for the evening. Service was quick and good and we had a marvelous dinner in about an hour. We all loved our choices, from the veggie entree my daughter chose (and she was also happy about the wide range of gluten free options) to the pork chop and the Seafood Pirlau. There were oohs and ahs for the Smoked Gouda Sweet Potato Biscuit Pudding and the Goat Cheese Corn Pie. The top of the Pirlau was a classic mix of shrimp, mussels, sausage, and tiny crawfish, over a wonderful rice cake with a tomato-y both that made me think of Jambalaya that an old friend of mine from N'aleans used to simmer for a day before serving. Delish!More infoThe BlackbirdPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.5

Disappointed that my pass holder discount couldn’t be used.More infoThe Bistro - Biltmore EstatePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.8
- RRobert EVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •117 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoTo be upfront, this would have been a 5 star but for the fact that one entree was unacceptable BUT to give the restaurant proper credit they did take the charge off the bill and were very polite about it. Otherwise other meals were great. The Duck was outstanding, the fish special (salmon) was very good, the gnocchi app was 100% and the wagyu beef tarter was exceptional. While the group did not order a bottle of wine the list appears very good to excellent. The red wines by the glass recommended by the server was spot on to what my quest was seeking. Good call. We will return.More infoAsheville ProperPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Asheville•4.6
- LLudovicNew Orleans / Louisiana •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoGreat experience, service was perfect, as well as ambiance. The amuse-bouche was a nice touch and it was delicious. The temperature of all dishes could have been hotter. The gnocchi was our least favorite dish, very dense and paste like. The lobster was the best that I have tasted, cooked perfectly. Overall it was a great experience.More infoThe Dining Room - Biltmore EstatePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.8

Waiter was beyond expectations, with recommendations on wine pairing, sauces on selections, and general menu options. Had charred octopus to start, Elk loin with suggested sauce and seared scallops as addition. Saulteed mushrooms, creamy mashed potatoes as side. Would order again and again !! Strawberry Bruelee for desert !! Do not want to spoil visit!!! Wait until you are handed the menu !!!!
