Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Aspen / Strathcona / West Springs

Fantastic omakase! Chef May May is the perfect guide for an eye opening meal. Each beautifully plated dish was prepared in front of us, all with thorough explanations. The fish was incredible as were the complimentary dishes. The sake pairing offered a range of sakes, paired precisely with the food being served. The space is intimate and laid back. We will absolutely be back, both for weeknight small bites and for bigger celebrations.

We came here for our anniversary and it was nothing less than amazing. To our surprise, it was rather empty when we arrived, however it worked in our favour for a quiet dinner. We came right at the end of happy hour and ordered their sangria and margarita - which we both amazing. We also got the beef tartare, duck wings, and oysters and everything was amazing; we couldn’t believe this was all on happy hour. For mains we ordered the agnolotti and the duck breast and were not disappointed. Desserts we ordered the carrot cake and key lime pie which were also amazing. Food quality was unreal and we will 100% be back.

Fantastic all around. Love the new space. Gifted bartender. Food was great. Noisy in a good way. Lively, good music. Cozy. I was skeptical when I heard about a move to Marda Loop but it was great!

This was an excellent choice for our annual tradition of going out to a nice restaurant on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious and the service was attentive without being overly done. We will definitely return in the future for special occasions.

Food and space were excellent as usual. Our server was very keen to remove our plates, including taking plates with food still on them and also taking a plate from one of us who still had a piece of bread in his hand and was enjoying sopping up the leftover sauce. This was more amusing than annoying, but was unexpected given the level service we have received at previous visits to The Coup.
