The newest addition to the Restaurant Collection at SIMON Roosevelt Field mall, Nomiya — which translates to ‘saloon’ — stands as the area’s first izakaya. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and windowed dining room framed by black granite walls.     Absolutely wonderful time at ITA Kitchen! The food was fantastic. We started off with the mozzarella appetizer that was made at our table followed by a Spicy Rigatoni dish for me and the veal chop (the night’s special) for my boyfriend. Both meals were absolutely incredible and we both ended up sharing from each other’s plates. I had an espresso martini flight for dessert that was delicious. The wait staff was excellent and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

    My family took me there for my birthday. The atmosphere was beautiful. The items on the menu were so unique. Duck wings were an amazing appetizer, Oxtail pasta was delicious and so big, the burger was huge and flavorful with the thick cut fries. The only thing that could be improved was the kabobs. They were more of an appetizer size. Would be best to make them have more for the entree or just add it to the app menu.
