Beauty & Essex has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant’s entrance, a well-curated modern-day pawn shop replete with a saxophone, boombox, quirky artifacts, vintage treasures, and an eclectic array of “one-off” pieces of jewelry. Continuing past the pawnshop, guests encounter a grand, circular staircase wrapped around a two-story custom chandelier, but only the adventurous will discover all that Beauty & Essex has to offer. Great food, wonderful server. Couldn’t believe how fast our food and drinks arrived- our server made excellent recommendations and was so nice. A wonderful experience. Only negative was the noise level, but what do you expect at such a popular place. Totally worth it!!

It was a wonderful time watching a live tuna carving and then eating it in multiple ways. Next time I hope to get a counter seat so I can get the pieces directly from the chef. 😋
