Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in East Austin

First time and will definitely be back. The pasta was AMAZING, I can’t wait to have again. Vodka rigatoni and pork pasta I’m still thinking about days later. The sides were less amazing but still tasty. Might skip the crispy potatoes in the future. Came for bday celebration and service was outstanding!

I don’t usually give reviews only if it’s really bad as in to warn people or when it’s really good. Well Este was amazing. Just felt welcomed. Our server was very knowledgeable, personable and confident. Had the sombra margarita and I can say it was the best margarita I have ever had. Smoky, not too sweet, perfect balance of flavors: a pleasure to drink. (Also am not a drinker but I love a good drink to sip over dinner) We had the Este ceviche. Amazing. Other two dishes. All were very well balanced, light, light in salt which was refreshing for a restaurant in Texas. My stomach and soul felt light and happy! Great experience.

Had to wait for 20 minutes to be sat when we had a reservation. Understandable but when a place is supposedly upscale, it’s a bit frustrating. Overall good experience, the market selection is where you should spend your money.

From the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like valued guests, demonstrating an impressive knowledge of both the menu and cooking techniques. The pork belly was nothing short of revelatory - perfectly rendered with a crackling exterior that gave way to melt-in-your-mouth meat beneath. My wife's bavette was cooked to absolute perfection, showcasing the restaurant's mastery of open-flame cooking. The attention to detail in every dish proves why Hestia stands at the pinnacle of Austin's dining scene. What truly sets Hestia apart is the combination of exceptional food and impeccable service. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and their passionate knowledge of each dish enhanced our dining experience. The elegant atmosphere and open kitchen add to the theatrical experience of watching the chefs work their magic over the flames. Without hesitation, this was the best meal we've had in Austin.
