    I love that the evening simply unfolds for you with no decisions to be made. Each course was a surprise and delight. The chef is creative and really focuses on extracting the most flavor from each bite. The service is always excellent. It always amazes me that we can have this type of meal pre-ballet without feeling overly rushed.

    Fantastic! Honestly, one of the best dining experience I've ever had. I wish I remembered the name of our waiter but he was the best, jovial, patient, not stuffy. We wanted a somewhat protracted dinner b/c we had a lot of catching up to do and he was great about letting the evening flow. Food was impeccable. Presentation was flawless. Filet perfectly seared.     We had an awesome Valentine's Day dinner at Spruce. We travelled to San Francisco for the weekend and this was our first visit to Spruce. We made a great choice. The fixed menu for the evening was great. Everything from start to finish was delicious. We opted for a nice bottle of wine with our dinner. However, the wine pairing menu looked to be great as well. The service was excellent. We will definitely return the next time that we are in the Bay Area.
