Food was prepared first class with explanations for each dish. We will be back!More infoMiku Restaurant - VancouverPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.8
- AAlexandreVancouver / British Columbia •19 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoTop-notch French-inspired cuisine. On par with what I would find at a good Montreal restaurant. I had heard ups and downs since Chef Feenie took over but the meal we had was better than Lumiere. We shared a burrata salad with local beets -- nothing otherworldly but fresh ingredients and tasty. Also shared the hamachi crudo which is apparently award-winning, and I can see why. I had one of the best duck breasts I have had in my life, with seared foie gras accompaniment to boot. My friend had the veal with morel sauce. Both were really top-notch. We sat at the bar and had very friendly and attentive service. Wine list is relatively small for this type of restaurant, and the bottom end of the price range is missing. We had the sommelier suggest a bottle of low-intervention burgundy which suited our food well. Atmosphere is very classic and not too loud. Overall a classy restaurant perfect for a business meeting, tete-a-tete, or a special occasion when you want to hear each other talk!More infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7
- DDonaldvipWinnipeg / Manitoba •90 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWhen in Vancouver, a visit to Hawksworth is always in order. I decided to try the seasonal tasting menu. The selection looked impressive on the menu. It exceeded my expectations as I savored each bite. Thoughtful wine pairings complemented each course. Top marks for service and presentation. The sea bass, duck, and sunchoke ice cream were stellar. For the price, such fare is great value. The attentive service only contributed to the experience. I highly recommend Hawksworth.More infoHawksworth RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Canadian• Yaletown•4.7
- CCraigVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined on 22 Nov 2024Food was very delicious, had the duck meatball, gnocchi, duck breast, and bread. All were very good hard to find anything wrong with these. If I had to be nitpicky, I wish the sauce on the meatball tagliatelle wasn't as strong/cheesey but it was still very good. Service was just perfect too, very attentive and friendly. Our family enjoyed the various lemonade flavours, especially the kids. Will certainly go back to Fable.More infoFable KitchenPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kitsilano•4.6
