Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Green Valley Ranch

Bistro Vendome turned out to be the ideal place for my wife and I to spend Valentine’s Day, which was as well our 49th wedding anniversary. The decor is charming and of course reminded us of Paris. The staff are friendly and sophisticated and the service was superb and timely. I enjoyed the French onion soup and the Coq au vin and my wife had the trout with a wonderful cucumber salad . I highly recommend the wine selection and of course to top things off they have a dessert treat called the chocolate bomb, which was a delicious and fitting end to a great dinner in a place with lively atmosphere.

Cattivella provided me and my partner with a fantastic dining experience this Valentines. While most restaurants were booked, I was fortunate enough to find this place with an open reservation for 5pm and we took it - we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The dining room and atmosphere is upscale but casual, and seating is arranged in a way that allows you to be comfortable regardless of where you’re placed or who’s around. The service is even better - our server specifically was quick, attentive, and answered any questions we had about the food, drinks, and desserts effortlessly. Additionally, both our food and drinks arrived very quickly. Speaking of food and drinks, everything was AMAZING! My partner had some wine and I had the grapefruit cocktail, which was sweet and hit just the right spot as someone who prefers sweeter cocktails. In terms of food, my partner got the Trenette and I got the Lamb Ragu. I can’t attest to the Trenette but from what I tried it was delivious, but the Lamb Ragu? Oh my gosh. That is one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had in my life. Super savory flavors and some of the most tender lamb - let alone meat - that I’ve ever had. All in all, Cattivella provides diners with an elegant dining experience in every regard, and I can guarantee that my partner and I will be back. Thanks for an awesome Valentines!

We made a last-minute reservation without doing much research, and I’m so glad we ended up here. We were greeted by the host/waiter/chef/owner, took a seat and discovered they have a single tasting menu with wine pairings if you’re inclined. Dinner went smoothly, with my wife asking for some accommodations to a couple of courses, which were no problem. Dessert was the highlight of an entirely enjoyable meal.

The chef tasting was a wonderful way to try and experience Indian food. The chef was very nice and funny and personable and delivered our food numerous times and explained the dishes. I’m going to go back for my birthday dinner with family in s few weeks.
