Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. The place was nice and the food was good, but I had mentioned in the booking that it was my mums 60th birthday and that we would like to sit outside, which they agreed to but then when we arrived we were sitting inside. We waited a long time to be served and it was quite difficult to get the attention from staff sometimes as they were very busy so we had to wait for a while. It was a nice place and I would go again, but I don’t think it was very special for this occasion as my requests weren’t met.

Amazing tasting menu created with ingredients from the restaurants own garden. The service was fantastic, very attentive without hovering over you. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to CDMX!
