- JJamesVIPOrange County •122 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSuperior food! My wife and I enjoyed Caviar followed by the home-made Ravioli, and then Branzino and Sea Bass. The pasta potions are very small so easily an appetizer. Professional yet friendly service in a great atmosphere. Though not required, you really should dress up - jacket for men and nice dress or pants suit for women. It's definitely pricy - $800 - for the two of us, but worth it - particularly for a special occasion.More infoLido Restaurant and Champagne Bar at The Surf ClubPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Surfside•4.7

- IIlanWest Palm Beach •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoThe main course was completely decadent and worthy of a 2 star Michelin. The service is great, it can get on the chillier side once seated for an hour. Service was AMAZING all of them. Table spacing can be a bit smarter. We started with a pre dinner amuse of pork belly taco (good), then a croqueta of bacallo (even better), then crab one bite (best) followed by oxtail soup (good); next amouse of oysters and caviar (really good but not quite the oysters and pearls taste from Per Se or French Laundry); next was bread and butter and the only places to match are the Modern and Epicure in Paris (Devine); then shrimp with artichoke lemon (Devine); then Atlantic Halibut (Best in Show - i do not like Anice and it was so balanced in the Tarragon and with the black garlic that i could have had a vat of it -thank you); then palate cleanser of whiskey/mango/passion fruit (Really Good) then the squab (WOW);the rest was desert and a disappointment. Look i get being cutting edge and i can bake as well at the level, she needs balance to reqlly represent Puerto Rico and dessert better (this is the reason for 4 stars and onpy reason). She is young and needs a mentor before going to this level. Some suggestions: she has a delicate but simple Bombolini but too simple and then puts it with a ginger ice cream thst is too strong, she forgot the balance with lime and cream...make it a flan ice cream on the creamy sode and then throw the ginger in, the flavor will be more Puerto Rico and then more balanced. Also why Italian? Ho Getmsn or Puerto Rican, invent the mini dessert Mofongo, you were too out there to show off spice in a dessert but wothout the delicate balance that this level calls for. You need time because the skill is clearly there. Overall i am really happy the Tambourine Room is in Miami and look forward to returning. Merci and Dankeshern Heir Tristan, you make Escoffier proud!More infoTambourine Room by Tristan BrandtPrice: Very Expensive• French• North Beach•5
- MMARCUSMiami - Dade •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur servers Luciano and Adriana along with the kitchen team truly saved our first ever visit and first impression. After making a reservation for my wife and I on open table, I followed up with a phone call and requested a table with a view and was assured that it would not be a problem. When we arrived for our Valentines Day date, we were seated two tables away from the kitchen in a very smoky area of the room. The initial host team was not as warm or helpful in resolving the seating first provided. Adriana was kind enough to seat us outside in the cool fresh air and Luciano warmly greeted us and took our orders. My wife’s order came to the table incredibly fast - under 8 minutes. Mine arrived about 8 minutes later, with Luciano apologizing for the delay. The portions were generous, well seasoned and beautifully presented. Whether a special occasion or date night, the overall experience should be pleasant from start to finish and we were fortunate that the first part of our experience was gladly behind us thanks to those serving and preparing the food versus those tasked with initially greeting and seating guests.More infoJarana Aventura - Peruvian Cuisine & Pisco BarPrice: Very Expensive• Peruvian• Aventura•4.6

Watching your meal made with front row view and served by both Chef Evan and Osmel adds to the dining delight. Great “pop-up” ambiance and entire staff is in on making your meal highly enjoyable!
