So you ask why Wanda Byob? Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad. What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. This was a wonderful first fine dining experience. I was struck speechless by some dishes. The espresso before dinner was not complimentary, the hollandaise was slightly cold over my tortellini and the potato gratin’s cheese split which was unfortunate but overall it was truly a magical experience and the were highlights (the nonalcoholic spritz, the magical lighting, the dessert, and the aji with apple and peanuts) that struck me speechless and made up for it. Magical. Wonderful. So happy I did it.

Amada is in my Mount Rushmore of fine dining! It’s a must do kind of experience for any date or joyous occasion. I love the dim lighting, romantic vibe, soft sexy instrumental music playing in the background, and very attentive staff. The bathroom even smelled great! There are so many delicious flavors to try with the tapas and the price is surprisingly reasonable for what you get! Thanks Again!!
