- MMichalleSan Francisco Bay Area •16 reviews5.0Dined todayWent to Trestle for a long overdue date night. It was perfect! I was able to get a same day reservation. The neighborhood was lit up and romantic. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent (beet carpaccio, seared trout, coconut panna cotta). I was worried that the portions were on the small side, but I left super satisfied. Fine dining at less than $50/per person in San Francisco is a steal! I will be back.More infoTrestlePrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.8

- AAudreyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024All the staffs are very courteous, nice, friendly and notice details quickly. From the starter, Oysters were fresh, and with the seaweed vinaigrette, it elevated the oyster a lot. With the frog leg, the meat is so tender and juicy. Sauce on the side offers a nice acidity touch for fried dish. I loved the fact that they took inspiration from Nashville Hot Chicken and curated to their own version, everything on the plate were seasoned perfectly even with the pickle they served on the side. Grilled half sea bream was wonderful, I can taste the charbroiled flavor. Fish was very crispy, meaty, juicy and buttery. With the Meyer lemon herb salad, it definitely made the dish more refreshing. Overall, I really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you for everything and for sure I will come back soon.More infoAngler San FranciscoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7

- PPenelopeVIPHawaii •102 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024We always try to eat at Gary Danko when we are in town (from Hawaii) for special holidays in this case Christmas Eve. So grateful they were open and able to accommodate us. This is always our go to place because our daughter in law is gluten intolerant and they always graciously accommodate her (even to the point of having gluten free bread). Many restaurants will not accommodate because of possible cross contamination, but Gary Danko always welcomes us. We love the selections of courses and look forward to the muffin they give for breakfast the following morning. The only criticism I have is that there is no valet parking - so we take taxi/uber weather can be severe. You have to try this and you will keep coming back!More infoGary DankoPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Fisherman's Wharf•4.8
