Best Romantic Restaurants in Clemmons

Our server Josh was exceptional. He was attentive but not intrusive. He was well-versed in food allergies protocol which helped accommodate two in our party. The chef made accommodations as well. The only negatives feedback from our group had to do with the clam chowder- not the best they have had- and the sauce for the sea bass wasn’t a taste that the one ordering preferred. Quality and presentation of food was excellent and ambience was very pleasant, ideal for conversation around the table. We will definitely return!

Food was excellent as always. What I love about Cibo as well is you never feel hurried. Last night was no exception. Our server was so patient with us and let us order each of our courses in due time. Our server was really exceptional and just made the meal! Don’t recall his name, but in his 20’s, tall, dark wavy hair. Well done!

Christmas Eve brunch was our first visit to Katharine’s and it was excellent. Oysters to start were perfect. Two from our party enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Perfectly fried with an amazing twist in the Texas Pete Maple Syrup. Another had the short rib strata which was tasty and unique. I had the Christmas Special Benedict which was smoked salmon based and very delicious. Signature cocktail hits were the Gamekeeper, Campfire Manhattan, French Old Fashioned, and the Espresso Martini. Keeping with the toasted marshmallow theme, we had the Bitter Chocolate Pot de Creme as a final touch that was a compact sweet treat.

What an excellent meal! We had skewers (an interesting part of the menu), clams, wedge salad and the best lamb chops that I've had in sometime. Perfectly cooked!!!! A little light on of all things the roasted vegetable side but would go back for the same thing tomorrow. The restaurant has tight seating so call ahead and make sure you have a booth or if weather permits sit outside. Good wine pairings and very nice cocktails.
