- JJanelleGold Coast •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe did the Yang Banquet Meal with the wine pairing and it was sensational. We dined on Valentine’s Day and it was a full house. However our food was delivered in a timely manner and to an impeccable standard. We loved every dish and we found the wines accentuated the flavours in each dish perfectly. Was a magical experience and would happily recommend and dine again in a heartbeat! Service too was attentive, professional, warm and friendly. Loved everything about our Valentines dinner at Mamasan! Thank you to all.More infoMamasan Kitchen and BarPrice: Expensive• Asian• Broadbeach•4.7
- AAlexandraGold Coast •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoEverything was wonderful, from the ambiance to the service. However, the only downside was the portion size of the Valentine's special, which didn’t quite meet expectations.More infoThe Fireplace RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Hope Island•4.4

I was transported back to Tokyo - where I lived for 10 years. The server Mayu was kind and engaging and really a wonderful host as were all the other staff, they gave a genuine warmth and made you feel so special. The Yoyogi Black Beer was smooth and lovely a perfect match with the delectable yakitori that was cooked with art and refinement. Our course started with a clear chicken broth, so cleansing with the smokey charcoal flavour, Each course was delivered in an unhurried yet timely manner, where you could enjoy the experience of dining and conversation. The volume of the food is less than most are accustomed to in Australia but we were so full by the end, and our taste buds were in heaven. It is not about wolfing down a huge meal but enjoying the flavours as they hit you and satisfy you. The sashimi was of the highest quality, the tempura so delicate, the chicken amazing and the salad fresh. The wagyu sandwich was to die for! Thank you for a lovely Valentines Day, definitely an occasion restaurant. Dress to impress, put your phones away (apart from for snapping a few foodie pics) and enjoy each other, and the experience. We loved it!!More infoOne EightyPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Southport•4.5
