Best Romantic Restaurants in Harbord Village

I’ll start with the bad because there isn’t much. The servers would bump in to our chair and table a lot which was truthfully quite irritating. The space is small but there is enough room to navigate without the bumping. The good. The food is absolutely exceptional. We had the classic tasting menu and every item from start to finish was a 10. The dessert was good too but after 8 superb courses it was hard to follow that up. The service was quick and attentive. Food came out very very quickly (but you were given enough time with each course so that you didn’t feel rushed). Our server Ken was very polite and helpful and always asked before clearing our table. The space is quite loud due to the small tight area, I will come back and try the patio next time when it’s warmer out. If you want to indulge in amazing food I highly recommend. Wouldn’t go for a first date indoors as you may struggle to hear each other. Rasa was also very generous in providing a small treat for my birthday and we really appreciated it. I will come back many times to show my friends and family the exquisite dishes we had here.

unique steak house experience. The Jewish twist with traditional side dishes (cabbage, beets, pickle platter) were great. the star of the meal was the pastrami and a close second the shake and bake chicken. Great cocktails (Franks Gibson with horseradish!!!). amazing closer: babka. oh my. sooo good.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at DaNico! The food and wine pairing was an incredible experience and we would definitely recommend this restaurant to all our family and friends for a special occasion or a memorable night. We greatly enjoyed sushi and five kinds of pairing sake. The portion of food was good, and the timing of serving was also good.
