We had an enjoyable meal at Sassafras Southern Bistro. Portions were generous and everything we ordered was very good. We started with the fried green tomatoes and the wedge salad. For entrees we had the seafood trio and the fried chicken. We will definitely return.

Just shoot me...just when my foodie wife and I thought we had figured out our downtown gourmet foodie ranking (Gfr) we stumble into a new place that tweaks the palate and hoses it up.
