Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. This was our first visit to McCarrs House and we were really impressed with the friendly staff and the atmosphere of the place. The food was limited but what we all had was very nice and tasty. Would definitely come back again.

For this calibre of restaurant I would have thought they would use fresh hand cut chips not frozen, it puts the quality of the dish down. Everything else was really good. We will return.
