    We visited Sougo on our first night in Tokyo. We had heard it was excellent, and it truly surpassed all our expectations. The ambience, the quality and favor profile of the food, the drinks, the attention to every small detail, the service, the extremely welcoming staff and chef: everything was perfection. The value for money for the quality you get is amazing! We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend dining there while in Tokyo!

    This was the first dinner we had on arrival in Tokyo, on a first visit to the city. We selected it given its proximity to our Airbnb and the excellent reviews to be found online. Diritto was superb in every way. As a global "foodie" from Manhattan, I'd rate this a 5-star dining experience. Intimate and civilized small room, the warmest welcome imaginable, a master chef cooking in an open open kitchen, preparing a masterful 4 course Italian dinner seen through his personal lens using the finest local ingredients. An extraordinary meal in every way. Thank you for such an amazing welcome to Japan!

    Absolutely perfect from start to finish. From the bread and wine through all 6 courses, the food was inventive, creative and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Recommendation: sit in the counter area and not at a table to see the kitchen/food prep at work. This place will have a Michelin star at some point: it's that good, so go now when it's accessible and reasonably priced.
