Best Restaurants with a Scenic View in Glendale

Our server was a very kind lady and on top of our tables. Very sweet. Amazing food and the view is spectacular. One of my favorites restaurants in NYC.

The snacks are on point—perfectly portioned, flavorful, and creatively presented. Whether you’re into classic tapas or something with a modern twist, there’s plenty to choose from. We were looking for a new place that had great food, service and ambiance. Maiella hit a home run on all three. The menu has so many great options to choose from. The table-side cacio e pepe was one of the best we’ve had. It’s a nice add to have it made right at your table. We had chicken parm and branzino and both were equally delicious. They come with either a side of pasta or vegetables. For desert we had cheesecake and Affogato. This just sealed the deal for for an already amazing meal. Additionally, I am very big on customer service and they make sure they deliver in this area. Anthony , the manager, is a really nice guy. Stopped at our table to ensure everything met our expectations. He shared some stories with us about the restaurant and food. He makes sure all your expectations are met (even exceeded) and what sets this place apart from other restaurants in the area. We look forward to Maiella being a regular place for us and can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. Lastly, the the ambiance with the views of NYC make this a place you won’t mind sitting for an hour or two. If you haven’t already, definitely try this gem.

we've been a few times. every one has been outstanding! window tables have a spectacular view of the bridge & lower manhattan, with the east river ferries docking so close you could almost touch them. catch dom on piano if you can; he's been playing there for decades and with good reason. the best wait staff you'll find anywhere! stunning entrance plantings at the end of the cobblestone drive. oh yeah, the chow... last night, nantucket bay scallops for appetizer, sea bass for main course, "the bridge" for dessert, plus additional on-the-house items. all excellent. russian caviar for those with too much disposable income. don't forget: bring your home equity line of credit or similar. well worth it. go big or go home.

Sweet place with a great atmosphere. Staff was friendly and attentive. Endive salad was superb. Octopus fresh and well presented. ONLY criticism- leave the croutons out of the squash soup- no need.
