- MMikeToronto / Ontario •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoCanoe celebrates the Canadian food experience with locally and Canadian-sourced choices expressed in a True North manner. Our Taste Canoe featured smoked oyster and venison, fois gras-cured lamb, butternut-sweet potato-anise soup (surprise!), sturgeon and shrimp tortellini, lobster, veal, Granny Smith apple-verjus (delightful palette freshener), carrot cake-ice cream-maple syrup-black garlic, petit fours. The pairings were spot on, and discussions with our somm (I didn't get the spelling of his name, but it's pronounced U Gee) indicate an adventurous take on the meal. Our server extraordinaire, David, delivered a superb performance (ask him about his love of hockey). The staff are passionate about what they do and it shows in their presentation of the courses. Our table's clear view of the lake and downtown made our anniversary extra special. With views like these, it's like dining in an art gallery. We'll return again next year!More infoCanoe Restaurant and BarPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Financial District•4.5
- EEllieToronto / Ontario •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoYou feel a very relaxed sensation when you step into seventh floor. The view is spectacular as the bar is surrounded by tall windows. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. If you are a non drinker they offer a very delicious alternative mocktail. The food menu needs a bit of improvement and the taste as well. But overall I really love this place and I recommenced it to everyone who wants a chill night out with a partner or friends.More infoRooftop Bar at the Broadview HotelPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Riverdale / Leslieville•4.4
- NNinaVIPToronto / Ontario •16 reviews5.0Dined on 15 Jan 2025From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by friendly staff who make walking to your table a joy. Once seated, there is no “where’s our waiter”, both times we have been our waiter is ready and waiting to introduce themselves and get your drink order. Yes they offer water but isn’t it frustrating when you go to places and they give you water then disappear then come back and take both drink and food orders together? This does not happen here. You are not rushed at all. My glass was never empty and the sommelier is so knowledgeable he had us trying all sorts of delicious wine pairings tailored to our food order. Then there is the food - O M G have the pheasant ravioli. My husband loved the wagyu beef carpaccio and we both had the duck and tuna. I can’t wait to go back. Oh I forgot about the view - incredible especially when it’s night and Toronto shines. Thank you to our wonderful waiters you made my husbands birthday so special and bringing me the handcream for my dry wrinkly old hands when I arrived out of the cold was next level service. See you all again soon and a special shout out to Cuba! Nina and Kenton.More infoDon Alfonso 1890Price: Very Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Harbourfront•4.8
- BBrunoMilan •4 reviews5.0Dined on 5 Jan 2025Glen and Priscilla looked after me and my family brilliantly. Would highly recommend them. We had a two week trip in Canada, and this restaurant also had the best dry martini we tried. Good food and good value as well, right next to the lake. Thanks to Glen and Priscilla for a lovely evening!More infoIrenePrice: Expensive• International• Harbourfront•3.9
