Best Seasonal Restaurants in Algonquin

Hidden gem with flavorful seasonal menu. Small plates and large plate options. We split two small plates (cauliflower and crostini), a salad and one large plate (slow cooked ribs). Plenty of food and each dish fill off interesting flavors.

This was such a fun and cute place to dine at. We loved it. The service was excellent.

It's a must in Crystal Lake!...Quiet, friendly, excellent menu and presentation.. love the Martini glasses!😉

Food and wine were excellent. Service was exceptional. I had short rib risotto which was great. Brought friends from out of town for their first visit and they loved it. We will all be back.

The Chicken Bacon Jam pizza was good, not great. The Burrata (sp?) cheese was dolloped on and covered the chicken and jam, obliterating the flavors of those two. I love their pizza crust. Service was a little slow, but VV seems to be chronically understaffed. However, the staff is long term, so we have gotten to know them and enjoy their service. I am a Wine Club member, so the meal is usually quite reasonable.
