Youth are released from detention into the sheltered environment of Café Momentum’s post-release program. By participating in our program, at-risk young people rotate through every aspect of the restaurant from waiting tables to washing dishes, while working side-by-side with established chefs. Went with work colleagues and had a fantastic time. Jose, our server, was phenomenal; paid close attention to dietary restrictions and made wonderful recommendations. Shared the honey and mushroom pizzas and didn’t have a slice left. The pasta entrees were fresh and delicious. Jose’s wine recommendations were spot on. And a sampling of each dessert was shared and enjoyed by all. Definitely recommend!
