Best Seasonal Restaurants in Heathfield

To return soon .. did not disappoint .. excellent .. took family .. ages ranged 5 years to 67 .. all made welcome .. the place to go .. including fabulous setting and views .. good place to make more memories

Warm and welcoming, we were sat on a table for two, however due to our order which had a large sharing platter were asked if we wished to be moved to a larger table which we gladly accepted as it was next to the open fire. Whilst the chateaubriand was tender, had a beautiful crust it was cooked medium rare rather than rare. It was however eaten and very much enjoyed. Staff were exceptionally pleasant keeping us updated at all times, without the feeling that our evening was continuously being interrupted. Good service, good food, (the best company) all adds up to a great evening.

Interesting and beautifully presented food without unnecessary foams and gimmicks. The perfectly cooked vegetables balanced well with the pheasant. The latter possibly just a little overdone was rescued with a tangy jus. This was the calm before the storm of valentines so we had intimate service fresh flowers on the table and a good wine at a reasonable price. My highlight was the surprise of our delicious apple tart being flambéed at the table ..thank you

Very nice venue with good food, excellent service and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
