We are a high-low, fine-casual concept making simple, seasonal American cuisine inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy, France, & Spain. Expect to see dishes that you are used to seeing at fancy restaurants & some you would typically find at a drive-thru or dive bar. but they all are served on a plate from Goodwill. Our menus are ever-changing, not just by the season but by the day. we embrace change, creativity & inspiration every chance we get.For groups of 2 people, we recommend ordering 4-6 dishes from the three sections of the menu (depending on how hungry you are!). for example - 2 snacks, 1 small share plate, & 1 large share plate.The food is designed to be enjoyed family-style.     We went for the special New Years brunch and had the best breakfast! The food was absolutely delicious and innovative. Will be dreaming about those gravy and biscuits 🤤 Ambiance was on point as always, not too loud but still felt busy and happening. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Decor is beautiful. Just such a lovely space and experience! Fingers crossed for more brunch in the future!

    We have dined at Carnal many times and we never leave disappointed in the food quality or the service. On rare occasions when restaurants are a bit slow everywhere, Carnal can be under staffed and service is understandably slow. But even then the service is always friendly and the food is delicious. As the menu changes periodically, to keep it fresh and fun, we can always find new things to keep our experience fresh. Based on previous visits we knew the pasta and the steak was good so we ordered that again. The half chicken was new to us so we decided to give that a try. We were surprised by how delicious it was.

    New seats, new tables, outstanding wait staff, and of course, always fabulous food! I did actually like the clear barriers between tables. They provided a little more privacy and helped reduce the overall noise... but still always a great experience. And we always take advantage of the $500 GC with the add'l 10% 😉
