The menu was a celebration of Scotland’s finest ingredients, showcasing local produce and age-old recipes with a contemporary twist. I started with the Cullen skink, a velvety smoked haddock soup that was both comforting and rich in flavour. For the main courses, we had the seafood stew and the venison meatpie; both were excellent. For dessert, the warm orange cake was a delightful finale. It was a true taste of Scottish heritage. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable; their passion for Scottish cuisine shone through every interaction. Second time visiting Number 16 and it yet again did not disappoint. Such a relaxed atmosphere created for a place thats serving some of the most delicious food out there. Festive menu offered great variety for all. Cooked to perfection. Service was superb. All around great place for a special occasion. Will be back soon.
