- CCarrieBerkshire •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlways a favourite, cosy and relaxed with fantastic service and food. Nothing is too much trouble but equally the team are t over-baring. Roaring fire and a decent glass of wine to go with a belly busting but beautifully cooked roast dinner.More infoThe Angel at BurfordPrice: Expensive• British• Burford•4.7

- MMikeWorcestershire •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was an Afternoom Tea that was exactly what you’d expect. The village is absolutely beautiful, venue is magical and the food really excellent. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and it showed on the food they provided We had a festive tea that was £10 more than standard so not sure what the difference was The plain scones were as good as any I’ve eaten and the cakes were beautifully presented. No way to eat it all so you get a nice little box to take the surplus away with you Highly recommendedMore infoThe Slaughters Manor HousePrice: Moderate• Contemporary European• Gloucester•4.2
- RRICHARDBedfordshire •2 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoWent for mid-week pre-Christmas lunch, meeting relatives half-way between our respective homes. Warmly welcomed on arrival and well attended from the word 'go'. We were a party of 5 adults and 3 had pre-ordered the Festive menu with the others choosing from the standard menu on arrival. The food arrived promptly and was delicious and well portioned. Our waitress allowed a sufficient (and much needed!) gap between the main and dessert courses which emphasised the relaxed atmosphere and we never felt that we were being rushed, or hurried along. The restaurant was reasonably busy, so there was an agreeably gentle buzz and the background music was not at all intrusive. All in all a really enjoyable experience ... good food in a lovely setting with relaxed but quietly efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended.More infoThe Fox at BarringtonPrice: Moderate• Pub• Burford•4.6
