Best Seasonal Restaurants in Grandview

Never having been to this restaurant before but always wanted to try it we selected it to Celebrate Valentine's Day. The ambiance was warm and relaxing upon entering the restaurant. It was exactly what I was hoping for. The Food was artfully presented with freshness and wonderful flavor. Our waitress Masha was friendly and a perfect server explaining our menu options with precision. Overall our experience was exceptional. Our only complaint is the prices are beyond what seems necessary. Honestly when a bottle of wine on their list is more than 3 times the cost sold at the stores seems beyond excessive. The beef albeit was top grade, prices overall have definitely reduced our return visit to perhaps Special occasions only. Disappointing for a couple that truly enjoy dining out.

We have been going to the Lee's Summit location since 2023, and all aspects of Cooper's Hawk are amazing, including the food, service, and ambiance. Love all the gifts available to purchase for wine lovers in the wine tasting room. We went for Valentines dinner recently. Although we had reservations, we did have to wait a bit as it was very busy. The wait, however, was not bad at all with complimentary glasses of wine and places to sit if needed. We had the great server, Tim again, who was attentive, funny, and even sang happy birthday to my husband. The food and whole experience truly make it 5 stars for us!

Our experience was terrific from start to finish. We were a few minutes late because of traffic but we were seated without much delay - which we expected. We had great seats in a booth on the back side of the bar. Our server, Regine, was perfectly attentive to us and answered our every question. The food was terrific, as well. We are glad that this is our annual tradition for Valentine’s Day.

We had a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner and it was very good. We started with an order of deviled eggs which could have been a meal on its own. We each opted for the three course meal, both choosing the sirloin. Our salads were fresh and plentiful, the steaks cooked to order (with a large serving of mashed potatoes) and asparagus. Surprisingly, we saved room for our desserts-crème brûlée cheesecake and brownie sundae. We left very full and happy that we chose Firebird's for the special occasion!

First time visiting and was over the moon! Everything we ate was amazing, our server so so sweet and had great recommendations. The vibe was very cozy and chic. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. I wish I knew our waitress’ name, she was phenomenal.
