- MMonicaToronto / Ontario •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe walked into the reception area and was first greeted with the sound of live piano music, followed by a warm greeting from the hostess. Our reservation was timed perfectly for sunset. Rebecca was our server and she was both professional and friendly. Everything we ordered was not just delicious but interesting and used locally sourced ingredients. We had a great experience and look forward to returning in the very near future.More infoMeridiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Kohala Coast•4.6
- JJohnVIPVancouver / British Columbia •190 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAn absolutely fabulous dinner experience to celebrate Terri’s birthday. Beautiful waterfront table and glorious red sunset (due to vog). Our server Briana made our evening extra special by introducing daily specials, providing exemplary service and always with a smile. We enjoyed the shrimp and kale salad appetizers daily fresh catch chef’s special red snapper (prepared perfectly delicious ) and macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi paired with the best of wines. Also wanted to say special thanks to our buser Jason who almost invisibly kept us well hydrated and removed dishes at just the right time. Manta, you never cease to amaze us. We will be back.More infoManta at Mauna KeaPrice: Very Expensive• Pacific Rim• Kohala Coast•4.5
- AAleciaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOur fam of 4 requested outside seating and expectation was met. Service was impeccable! We were always promptly served and checked on — questions were happily answered and added info given without inquiry! IAN was too notch! Manager also came over to introduce himself and check on our contentment with meal. Food was delicious. Loved the Kampachi done warayaki style. The corn ribs are a must! The Nikko cocktail drink was delicious and refreshing. The Goose dirty martinis gave option for blue cheese olives and it was off the hook! Coffee Semifreddo was like nothing we’d tried and with the banana side flavor …made it a must! Cost here is $$$$$ but if you’re looking for a memorable and special dining experience while on Island— this fits the bill!More infoCanoeHousePrice: Very Expensive• Creative Japanese• Kamuela•4.7
- JJaredSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe’ve been to big island 4 times now and this is always a must visit. You do need a reservation and you’ll still wait 10-15 minutes but the food is always great. It’s not cheap but that’s typical for Hawaiian restaurants, expect to pay more for an excellent meal and you won’t be disappointedMore infoTommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar - Mauna Lani, Big IslandPrice: Expensive• Hawaiian Regional• Kamuela•4.7
