Best Seasonal Restaurants in Leather District

The staff and the food were amazing. Its just very dark in the restaurant. Maybe I am just getting old, lol. Hard to see menu. My wife pulled out her cell to see better and the waiter dropped a little night light on our table. It was funny and fantastic at the same time.

Grill 23 on Valentine's Day was as spectacular as usual. We started out with the Seafood Tower, had a French Onion Soup, followed it with a Wedge Salad, and then the Rib Eye. Food was awesome as ever and the bread basket was filled with great goodies such as corn bread, raisin pumpernickel, and more. The extensive wine list provided a lot of choices and we started with a Paul Hobbs and ended with a Screaming Eagle.

Perfection! The service was incredible. You can tell the moment you walk through the door people here take their restaurant seriously. Our waitress was amazing, the manager was inspecting tables to make sure everyone’s experience was perfect, the food was delicious! I will be returning to this place ASAP! This became my girlfriends favorite restaurant in Boston because of our experience on Valentine’s Day! Thank you for giving us the perfect date night!

This was our fourth visit to the Vermilion Club, I believe, and it has recently become a favorite restaurant of ours. The location is unusual, on the second floor of a large office building in the financial district. Above the large island bar is a gorgeous Chihuly glass sculpture, and the vibe of the place is urban cool yet warm and inviting. The food is excellent…on this visit we had the prime rib and filet mignon, which were tender and flavorful, and the appetizers beforehand were superb as well. The service is always excellent here, professional and efficient without being stuffy. Our server on this visit, Nimi, was exemplary…always there when needed, but not intrusive. She also guided us to a couple menu choices that were perfect. We will definitely be back again, and look forward to seeing the Vermilion Club flourish!

i have been here twice in the last few weeks and ive had the best steak ive had in a long time the pork bites are great. the service is always fantastic.
