Best Seasonal Restaurants in Rochester

The lobster bisque is delicious! We also enjoyed the Caesar salads and shrimp. I liked the tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms and truffle oil but felt there was too much oil in the dish. We also shared a crime brûlée which was fabulously yummy! Overall, a wonderful evening. Thank you Tereza!

Every meal is lovingly prepared. The presentations are simple but elegant. We've dined there twice and sampled various dishes.....all perfect. The gnocchi are little pillows of magic. The staff are charming, fun, and proud of their restaurant and their success. We will be back.

I LOVE Five West. The menu is extensive with many varied dishes. The service is excellent. When we request specific seating (booth, no high-tops, outside, etc.) they have always accommodated us. The setting is up to date urban and active but not raucously loud. We have about two go-to restaurants in Rochester, and this is one. We are never disappointed there.

Great food and impeccable service. Our drinks were taking a little long and the server, without us saying a word, comped our drinks. The steak was cooked perfectly. The tuna tartar was the best I’ve had. Very good sablefish. The focaccia bread was homemad and “chef’s kiss”. Cocktails were delicious. Will be back!

Great server-very attentive and proactive. Potato skin appetizer was delicous. Lamb entree was super tender and flavorful.
