The service is friendly, helpful and not intrusive, the sommelier is knowledgeable and always has new recommendations. You are never rushed through the meal or after, so you can enjoy your friends as well as the meal.More infoMagoPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Latin American• Oakland•4.9
- TTanyaSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIt’s been a while since I’ve dined at Yoshi‘s. I enjoyed a very flavorful dining experience. Started with my favorites, the temporary vegetables. This was served as our choice for an appetizer. I’d really enjoyed the plank salmon. So flavorful, cooked through and a very healthy option for low-carb diners. I drove two hours to Yoshi‘s so I didn’t order any alcoholic beverages. I opted for a ginger beer based cocktail and it was incredible! Long live Yoshi’s! I’ve been going to Yoshi‘s since it’s first establishment in Berkeley. - TTerrySan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoYes! A restaurant where we can hear one another. Rare treat! Food and drink both thoughtfully and competently made. Fave dish was the Petrale over a silky cauliflower puree, with roasted cauliflower, pickled slivers of Fresno pepper, a light hint of Indian spice, topped with versus-soaked raisins, cashews, and coconut. Perfectly cooked fish, symphony of flavors that worked great together. The chicken liver mousse appetizer was good, as were croquettes of braised lamb, but not as star-worthy as that entree (we split 3 dishes + dessert). Apple cake was also luscious, great ending. My husband enjoyed his drinks, and I got a complimentary virgin Negroni (small) as a gift -- it was our anniversary dinner out-- and him, some Champagne. We'll definitely be back. Service was quietly competent, and the vibe was really nice. Full restaurant on a weeknight, but still space and privacy from other conversations.More infoBardo Lounge & Supper ClubPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Oakland•4.9
