Best Seasonal Restaurants in Shorewood

We took our family to Buckley's for an after Christmas fine dining experience. It was wonderful! We were guided to our table upon entry to this beautiful spot. The decor is lovely: black and white upholstery on chairs and bolsters. Bluish-green walls and white trimmed woodwork. It is a very lovely place. We had the best waitress who was very conversational and friendly. She was a sommelier, as well and was very knowledgeable discussing wines with our two sons who really know wines. They picked out two bottles during the evening that were perfect for my tastes. She was also very attentive and moved the meal at a perfect speed. Our food was wonderful. We had a few starters--sourdough bread with chive butter and fried artichoke hearts. Very tasty and different. The entrees were the perfect size--not too much food. My son's steak was just right, my scallops dish was just what I wanted, my husband's salmon was delicious. Our other sons loved their meals, too. And desserts were fabulous!

Absolutely wonderful experience here! Food and staff were absolutely fabulous and I am still dreaming of the Bay Scallops - would highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun cocktail and meal or charcuterie and some great wine!

Love dinner at Onesto! Creative and amazing cocktails. So very Gluten free friendly! Even things like crab cakes made with gluten free bread crumbs and good gluten free bread with meat and cheese board. Everything was delicious and our waitress was really fun and helpful.

I particularly enjoyed the DanDan noodles and the dumplings – both were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The service was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The ambiance was trendy yet cozy, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. Overall, a must-visit spot for anyone in the area looking for high-quality Chinese-American cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

This was an incredibly delicious meal! Definitely will be back. My only issue was that there were a lot of bones in the trout that we had. Other than that, everything had amazing flavor and texture components! Super delicious!
