Also ordered 1 of all the a la carte plates because we wanted to try everything. A great through line that tells the story of local sourcing. They don't hammer you over the head with didactic descriptions - they let the food do the talking and buttress their pristine ingredients with delicious accompaniments that enhance the flavors of the main event without overpowering them. Nuanced cooking with kind & gracious service. Doesn't get better.More infoRiver TwicePrice: Very Expensive• American• South Philly•4.8

This was the first time, however, we visited with an 8 month old. Friends of ours were in town from California, and we really wanted to show them an example of a dinner that makes us appreciate Philadelphia so much. The staff was incredibly patient and accommodating with our young pasta lover. The noise level and other diners that evening made our experience feel simply like you were eating in a friend's living room. We're grateful for Fiorella's in many ways, and always suggest this restaurant for smaller, more intimate gatherings for friends and family.More infoFiorella PhiladelphiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Bella Vista•4.9
- SSophiePhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was a wonderful first fine dining experience. I was struck speechless by some dishes. The espresso before dinner was not complimentary, the hollandaise was slightly cold over my tortellini and the potato gratin’s cheese split which was unfortunate but overall it was truly a magical experience and the were highlights (the nonalcoholic spritz, the magical lighting, the dessert, and the aji with apple and peanuts) that struck me speechless and made up for it. Magical. Wonderful. So happy I did it.More infoVetri Cucina - PhiladelphiaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Center City•4.9
- WWendyTampa / Central Florida West •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOur waitress Luciana was five star in world class, and then, of course, when they ring the bell and this petite little sweet waitress turns into a version of Beverly Sills and Pavarotti. It took our breath away. She blew all the other singers out of the water. We’ve been going to Victor‘s for years. The food has only gotten better than penne. Vodka was out of this world. It’s a destination, dining restaurant you’ll never forget.More infoThe Victor Cafe - PhiladelphiaPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Philly•4.9
