- LLydaWashington, D.C. Area •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBrunch was incredible! We were seated near the fire place…perfect for a chilly winter’s day! The olive oil fried eggs with smashed potatoes and farm salad were absolutely fantastic…savory yet light! We also had the bread pudding French toast which were light and sweet…heavenly and felt more like a dessert! Loved it all and consistently a favorite of mine in the city! Cannot wait to return :)More infoIron GatePrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Dupont Circle•4.6
- CCarlieBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoBrought my boyfriend here to celebrate his 40th birthday. We arrived to an opening celebratory warm drink from the chef before being shown to our table. At the table we found a handwritten happy birthday card and proceeded to have the best dinner either of us has had in awhile. It was amazing. Our waiter, Nickoli ( hope I am spelling it correctly) was phenomenal. We loved our time here and left with full belly’s and happy hearts. Much thanks!More infoThe DabneyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Shaw•4.7

Many have been there since it's opening which is especially nice for those of us that like to go often. It is great for business lunches as well and family celebrations and date nights.More infoJoe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Downtown•4.8
- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoSometimes the greatest luxury is when something simple is done absolutely flawlessly. Our anniversary dinner at Black Salt fits that description. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant is open to individual preferences and tweaks. The food was extremely fresh, cooked to perfection, and delicious. Portions were not huge, but satisfying, and beautifully plated. We had oysters, steamed clams, red snapper and fried Ipswich (belly) clams. The oysters were fresh and they had about eight varieties to choose from. The clams were served in a nice garlicky tomatoey broth. The fish was perfectly grilled and lightly seasoned to bring out the flavor. The sides were delicious in themselves. Every vegetable in a medley of mixed vegetables tasted exactly like that vegetable should taste. I suspect they had been cooked and seasoned separately and then joined together at plating. A purée of turnips and parsnips was light and tasty with a nice parsnippy sweetness. A simple salad was fresh and perfectly dressed with a light house vinaigrette. A cranberry orange flan served with a fresh fruit salad completed the meal. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.More infoBlackSaltPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Palisades Northwest•4.8
- HHunterHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was probably the best experience I’ve had at Old Ebbitt Grill. We got seated in the bar area, which was warm and comforting on a cold, snowy night. Our waiter was awesome…incredible competent with just the right amount of sass. The food was amazing…everything we ate was delicious. And the company was wonderful. I can’t wait for others to come into town to take them here.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
