As the name suggests, P.S. Steak was established to continue the story of the historic space that was once famed La Belle Vie. As Chef Mike DeCamp spent 10 years at the former French restaurant, this will be his homecoming and opportunity to write his own chapter for the space. P.S. Steak disrupts the perceptions of a typical steakhouse while honoring the legacy of one of the great culinary foundations in the Twin Cities. The restaurant features an elevated yet accessible seasonal menu, along with a variety of cuts of meat, dry aged in a display case.The lounge has been given a modern makeover with chic furniture and marble table tops.     Such a cute concept! The food was really excellent. Small bites that reminded me of a “high tea” vibe but with yummy cocktails instead. Though it’s not in an actual old train car, it is impressive how they create the ambiance of one. My only criticism would be that though there was Christmas music playing, it was very quiet and we could hear every word of conversations next to us. My wife and I said we would do this again though next year if there’s another menu to experience.

    We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday. We booked ahead of time and when we arrived at the restaurant, they had decorated the table. Food and cocktails were very good. I had the bone-in prime rib and my partner had the 12oz fillet mignon. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had a dirty martini and Brooklyn for cocktails. We shared a Grand Marnier Soufflé that was baked perfectly. We would definitely go again

    Our server was wonderful and the food was amazing - pistachio salmon especially. Feels like a special event. Ambiance was like a nice business lunch in New York..been a while but you get what I mean. Linen tablecloths, positive upbeat vibes, welcoming host, great service. Ok, maybe not like NY, exactly, lol

    Our server, Madison was amazing. I am a steak-eater, and my guest is a vegetarian. We were able to put together a filling and gourmet meal of multiple appetizers, entrees and desserts that fit the bill perfectly! The Denver Steak and the Aligot in particular were out of this world. The chocolate cake was impressive, but the chocolate sundae was a great way to wrap up our evening! The team was able to accommodate our request for a quiet, comfortable both. Both my guest and I commented on how unique and classy the interior was, the service, from seating, bar service, to valet was outstanding. P.S. Steak is not a "on the cheap" evening out, but for the experience, quality of service and food it is a bargain!
