Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Central City

Top notch in every category. Food is fantastic. Service goes beyond a great experience. They even accommodated our 6 month old at the table; this would create anxiety for many other restaurants but the staff was still every bit as exceptional as Matsuhisa’s reputation commands.

Alpenrose was just as charming as I imagined! Friendly servers, great decor and ambiance and great food! We shared the fondue appetizer-very tasty with a good flavor (not too strong but authentic!) as well as the schnitzel, a couple house salads (a great salad actually) and the apfel strudel. Everything was delicious, it’s a bit pricey for what it is but still worth the experience.

Our server, we think his name was Samuel (?) from Alabama was extremely accommodating and an outstanding host. We appreciated his hospitality and attentiveness! Food was delicious and cocktails were superb. Always an outstanding experience, but always superior with a capable waiter! Thank you!

Food & service were excellent. We’re repeat customers and keep returning. Just wish the ambience was better. Pretty drafty, but other than that it’s great.

Could use some modifications on some food, entrées and appetizers. Otherwise very good.
