Loved our service staff and was nicely blown away at the level of engagement that the management staff showed its patrons on Christmas Day. Even the GM helped out with clearing tables and assisting us patrons. All worked as a team to make our Christmas Day meal exceptional experience

This was my first time at the Gandy Dancer and I was impressed. It was Christmas Day and the restaurant was crowded. The staff was wonderful and gave us excellent service. Despite the crowd we never felt neglected. To begin, I ordered the butternut squash soup and my husband had the chowder. For the main course I had the scallops with risotto and my husband had the prime rib. Both meals were excellent and were good portions. The creme brulee for dessert was a perfect ending to a great meal. I thought that the prix fix price was reasonable too. Add all this to the ambiance of the old railroad station and it was a wonderful way to spend Christmas. We will definitely go back.

Took a friend on our annual Christmas Eve dinner. We had a good time. A little loud at first but fine after some people cleared out. Dinner was delicious except for the potatoes that were tasteless, and the drinks, appetizers, and dessert were perfection. They were out of quite a few things but I think they were busier than they expected so that's probably why. We would both go here again.

As soon as I walked in, I looked at my girlfriend in awe. Bowdies is absolutely beautiful. The way its decorated makes it feel almost home-like with comfortable energy, and the whole place smelt amazing. The service was fantastic, and the cook came to ask how everything was, he was a really cool guy. Everybody in there was so nice, and they played really good music, i loved the vibe. THE FOOD… The food was so good. The stake melted in my mouth, the lobster mac had an amazing creamy essence to it, and there sauces are delicious. The only thing im mad about when i think back to going, is not getting more food. Bowdies Chophouse in lansing is definitely a place worth going too, I would recommend it to anyone.
