Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Forest Park

We haven’t been for awhile and Lechon was and is still one of the best restaurants and experiences. Food and drinks were amazing and service was 1000 percent worth going out and reminds you that old school good service while eating out still exists.

Outstanding service, food, and ambience…we had the fiery ahi and the scallops & shrimp! The service was amazing, especially the bartenders who were very gracious and warm as we waited for our table!!! Plan to go again soon!!!!

Great service and food. You can never go wrong here. The only negative is that the tables are permanently affixed to the floor. They squish you against the wall if you are an average or above person.

Probably the best food and cocktails in Portland. That is saying a lot. Gorgeous ambiance and very good service. Highly recommend the lychee martini and scallops. Creative, high level flavors and presentations. Only dings are the menu on QR codes or flimsy unreadable paper. So, phone lights going on all over the tables. Also, the corkage fees exceed NYC, ($120 for 2 bottles) so we passed on our favorite bottles saved for birthday celebration from home cellar.
