Amazing food, the service in the end was very good but I feel like they rushed us in the beginning in selecting our food. And At the price point of the restaurant they should have offered us a sommelier from the beginning when they saw we had an interest in wine. I asked for the sommelier but he never came and then I had ti ask again so there was a delay in getting our wine paired with the appetizers. I feel like the staff is very young and need more communication and coordination for the type of restaurant. But I was So happy with the food it made up for everything.

Resturaunt has an amazing view of the river. Our waiter Andy gave great advice and was incredibly attentive. Food was incredible across the board, as was their signature drinks. My only small gripe was that our table felt like it was in the middle of a walkway. Much rather have been sat by the window. The tables next to the booth on the upper part of the restaurant, make you face towards the window rather than each other and your chairs feel they are in an aisle with the booths looking behind you.

There is nothing like Christmas at the Walnut Room. The tree, the wonderful people sprinkling fairy dust, the themed desserts, the decorations, the nostalgia..... EVERYTHING. I went as a little girl and bring back generations as an adult. It makes me teary being there. Our waitress was great. Reservations right on time. The food..ehh..it is not why you go. Burger was nothing special and the fries were literally cold, cold not even just cold. Most people get the pot pie and salad. I should have tried something a little daring but was in the mood for a burger. It was a smashburger. Next year I will go with the chicken dish! I love it here at Christmas, it is Chicago. So glad they brought back the collector mugs

Celebrated my bestie birthday for the first time here. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile. Most of the dishes were delish. I was not a fan of the seafood pasta and the key lime martini was a bit small for the price. Otherwise, it was an overall great experience.
