The Queen Anne Victorian at 210 Savannah Road in Lewes, DE has stood tall for over 100 years. Built in 1899, Captain W. “Diver” Johnston at the age of 52 collaborated with his business partner (William H. Virden) to build a beautiful new house for him and his wife, Isabella. Records indicate that he paid $400 for the entire lot, one of the most prominent sites in downtown Lewes.Over the next 100 years, the Victorian structure built in the style of Eastlake, an English architect, served as a home for many families, including longtime Lewes Mayor, Otis Smith.The team at Raas is proud to continue the story of the Queen Anne Victorian.     Off season dinners for 2. Was sparsely filled so we had outstanding service from their super experienced helpful and professional waiter. Good and cocktails were excellent. Has the the thali and was so happy I ordered it.

    We had a high quality experience at Agave Lewes. Greeter welcomed us warmly. We proceeded to the bar for a drink prior to being seated. That segment of the night was my favorite. Bartender was warm and kind and knowledgeable about the different margaritas and ingredients. Atmosphere at the bar is second to none! Dinner was also a positive experience- apps and food were spaced out appropriately- food was hot and fresh. What really struck me was the excellent attentiveness shown by Kira, our server. We sat at a table that was nicely tucked away, but it could have been ignored- but that didn’t happen as Kira checked in with us at ideal intervals . I appreciated that!! We will be back very soon!!
