Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Midtown

The entire experience at Spezia was wonderful. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and made sure that everything we ordered was safe for me to consume with a gluten allergy. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic, a great place to celebrate Valentine's Day. We will definitely be returning for date nights in the future!

This is one of the best restaurants to romantically take your partner too. I had one of the best dinners I’ve ever had in my life and my waiter was very nice and on point and made sure that we were stacked with drinks and appetizers. I would totally recommend anybody to go to this place at any given time. It doesn’t even have to be Valentine’s Day like when I went. Five out of five totally would come back. We’ll be back. Had a wonderful dining experience for Valentine's Day, dinner. Had to increase the reservation a few days prior and 801 graciously accommodated. When we arrived, we received a friendly greeting and were seated promptly. Our main server was extremely friendly, fun, and knowledgeable about every item we asked about on the menu. The serving team that assisted were also very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. There were 4 people in our party & everything we ordered tasted absolutely amazing! The family style sides were definitely a great choice, so we could all try different things and not a single option disappointed! I highly recommend 801 Chophouse for any special occasion! My only regret is that the cost is on the higher end, at least for my budget. And I wish I could frequent this wonderful restaurant more often!

We had a very good experience with a 5PM reservation. Noise levels allowed good conversation, tables are far enough apart to give some sense of privacy, and service was prompt. We enjoyed our meals of white fish and pork rib eye as both were delicious. Price is upscale but not out of line for the area.

Always a delicious meal with great service. Today, was a special Valentine’s menu and it didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed the scallops and Wagyu Denver steak! Desserts were scrumptious (berry cheesecake and raspberry beignets with ice cream and caramel sauce). Love this restaurant. We were also pleasantly surprised to see Steven again as our server. He is very knowledgeable and friendly.
