Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Potomac

Gregorio Trattoria delivered an outstanding experience last night. The service was impeccable, and the authentic Italian dishes, especially the homemade pasta and tiramisu, were flawless. Highly recommended!

Food was great. Loved the brunch. Unfortunately the expresso machine was broken. The level of service was normal maybe a little more attention to the table would have been nice. I did indicate that this was a birthday brunch. No one got the message. I was celebrating my daughter's 22nd. We brought gifts to the table but no one on the staff looked to care. In the end, the food and atmosphere was amazing. Definitely would recommend.

Philomena is a pillar in the DC community and for great reason. When you first walk down the, many steps, you enter your known as house. During the holiday season, the restaurant is decorated from head to toe with Christmas celebration. The staff are all extremely courteous and helpful And always dressed amazingly. The food is outstanding. All portions are large enough to share so get a few dishes and let your table enjoy old world Italian cuisine. Anything on the menu is a score in my book. But don’t forget always leave room for dessert. The cannoli are amazing!

Waitress was absolutely wonderful. We had a birthday luncheon for a friend and she was given extra care. Waitress couldn’t do enough for our table of four.

This was probably my fourth time at the restaurant. Love the ambience today and the service was about as good as it gets today. The food is slightly high in pricing but the rustic theme and energy tied with reliably good food makes it a place your can repeatedly enjoy and rely on. I just had a burger and ceasar salad but that along with a great double IPA from a large on tap selection made it just right for lunch with a very good friend. I was seated immediately and the staff led my later arriving to me without a fuss. Parking was ample and access from the beltway was a breeze. Will be coming back.
