Chef/Owners Lisa & Terry Harwood opened Vine Street Cafe in 2003. Located on South Ferry Road, just 1.5 miles from the South Ferry. Chef Terry works with area farmers, fishermen & vineyards and features their natural bounty on his seasonal menus. Almond is the perfect, cozy, refuge during the late fall and winter nights. The ambience is cozy and welcoming. The staff is always kind and hard working. We love the various specials Almond has, such as the Tuesday beer and burger night. We are lucky to have it as a neighborhood spot.

Three staff is EXCELLENT!!! Everyone from the hostess, to the runners to the waiter, all fantastic! Food was VERY VERY good, great flavors. Some portions were good size, others need to be a little larger, especially based on price. Dessert, chocolate cake was Great. The alcoholic drinks are WAY TOO OVERPRICED. Would love to have had a second drink, not easy to expensive and not enough alcohol in the mixed drinks.
