Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Salt Lake City

Better than I remembered. Had gnocchi with spicy sausage. Appetizer was small scallops with a kind of lemoncello sauce. Service was good and friendly. All in a cool building.

We visited for my son‘s 15th birthday, along with his kindergarten-age twin sisters. Emily was absolutely fantastic. She was patient in describing everything to the Littles, well making sure my son and I were also taken care of. Drinks were filled promptly and even customized based on preferences. Anything we asked for, they were went out of their way to accommodate. They even provided him with a birthday strawberry, complete with candle, so he could blow out his candle. Emily even sang with us. Since it was the girls’ first visit there, the manager stopped by and gave them a couple of chocolate dipped marshmallows to take home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from a fantastic restaurant, and they definitely made a lifelong impression for the kids in addition to myself. Thank you!

Our server was beyond amazing. She was cheerful, informative, professional, and took initiative to make sure our order arrived with enough time to leave for our show following dinner. Additionally, all of the dishes (and beverages) we ordered were absolutely fantastic. It’s clear this restaurant knows what it’s doing, has good leadership, and the staff is happy. We’ll done, guys 👏

Had a great dinner with the family. The Elk Chop was incredible, but the service was even better!! Erik did an awesome job and made the evening very enjoyable for my whole family!

We love Ruth Chris. It has become our birthday celebration restaurant. We were celebrating my husband's birthday last night. They always comp a birthday dessert, and the banana cream pie is Amazing, but all the food is Amazing. The tuna appetizer is our favorite. Filet is always cooked perfectly and do not forget the cremini mushrooms....sooo good. Our daughter loves the mashed potatoes and my husband loves the lobster bisque. It is ALL delicious. And we LOVE Fraser. He is the best server. We ask to sit in his section every time we go there. So friendly, great recommendations, and always takes care of us...attentive to anything we might need. He makes the dining experience outstanding.
