Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Tampa

This was an opportunity for me and my best friend to ring in the new year. What a better way than to do it at Flemings! We did an early dinner, and we seated in one of their booths, which was perfect. The service was unobtrusive and perfect. The food was beyond words. We decided to do the Wagyu experience and a fillet. We didn’t do appetizers so that we wouldn’t fill up and be able to enjoy our steaks and sides. I highly recommend the Wagyu experience! You receive complete instructions as well as all the tools and accessories you need for the experience. The steak comes to you seared and rare sliced. In the center of your table is a super hot stone 500°. You receive miso (amazing)! , Horseradish sauce, and black salt. If you don’t like your steak rare, you can place it on the stone and cook it to your liking. The beef is the most amazing meat you will ever taste anywhere. My fillet was also perfectly cooked medium. I have to admit I did partake in the Black salt, which was my favorite! For sides, we had mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus. For dessert, we had chocolate gelato homemade made by the chef and a chocolate lava cake which comes with vanilla ice cream. Nic was our server and his service was absolutely outstanding. Thank you, Flemmings, even on a most busy Saturday night at the beginning of the year you made our experience and experience that will last with us for a long time until we see you again, which will be very soon. Waiter and whole staff were pretty gentle. By the night time the place was really crowded and kinda loud ( people were just enjoying lol, just as we did ) so just be aware if you’re looking for a quiet place.

My boyfriend and I took my sister here because we heard this restaurant is amazing. It is better than amazing! Everything was so great and we really enjoyed the parm to table experience. The steak was cooked perfectly and the whipped potatoes were to die for. Definitely need to try this place if you haven’t!

This is a fabulous restaurant! Our server was Jean and he was great! Very attentive, made really good recommendations and his personality was great! The 1905 salad is very good, Grouper Jimmy is an excellent entree and so is Cannelloni de Langosta! The fresh bread is to die for! The sangria (blanco) was the best sangria I have even had. It was made at tableside which was fun to watch Jean make it. This is a really wonderful restaurant and one that I highly recommend. Thanks to Jean and Columbia for a fantastic family lunch with our son and daughter in law!!

I recently dined at Meat Market Tampa, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—clearly prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. The service was prompt, attentive, and on point. Amber and Olivia, in particular, were phenomenal. They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their warm personalities made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great spot with amazing food and exceptional service, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
