Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Tremé

First time visiting Morrow/Steak. When I walked into the restaurant, both hostesses looked at me, but did not say anything which was surprising. The restaurant is beautiful. Very nicely decorated and has a nice laid back atmosphere. Background music was at the right volume so that conversation could be had. Everything we ordered was delicious. Fat Boi roll, Surf and Turf roll, and turducken dumplings were very tasty. Three of us ordered the ribeye, which again we agreed was delicious, but two of the three steaks had an unprofessional trim which was a bit off putting and were overcooked to desired temperature. Others had the lamb chops, cooked perfectly, and the stuffed chicken which was also very good. Overall, it’s was a good dining experience and we will return.

One of the most amazing places I have ever dined in. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff was friendly and made the dinner that much more fantastic. Kudos to the staff and the management,

Superb! Great atmosphere. Live piano was great and soft enough for easy conversation. Decor is wonderful - each room has a different theme. Stellar service. Our party of five ordered a wide variety of dishes and all ranged from good to excellent. The creole cheesecake and flourless chocolate desserts were fabulous. I’m so glad we decided to try this place. It is absolutely one of the best options in the French Quarter.

Domenica was recommended by friends of ours and it did not disappoint! Food was outstanding - black truffle pecorino romano, spaghetti carbonara (CRAZY good), a rabbit/pasta dish (can’t remember the name), topped off by a banana dessert. Every table was taken the entire time we were there on 12.18. Highly recommend you book a reservation. LOVED our server, Heather. A fun evening.

We had an amazing experience at Meril. The staff and service were impeccable. The flavor profiles of the dishes were excellent. Strongly suggest Mexican street corn, meatballs, and banana cream pie. We highly recommend dining at Meril.
