Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Irving Park

We had a large group and the restaurant worked very hard to accommodate us. We had great service and great food and the entire experience was wonderful.

This was our fist time dining at The Hawksmoore. Our server guided us in making the perfect choices for our table of 2 couples. We each ordered our steak of preference and added the mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach. Appetizers she recommended were scallops-delicious! and shrimp which I would skip as they were hard to peel. Everything was excellent and the steaks were cooked perfectly. Sticky toffee pudding and maple pie will make us go back!

We got there early on Valentine's weekend to avoid drama. Was our first experience at G & G. We started with Calamari and Steak Tar Tar... Both perfect in texture and flavor. I shared Prime Rib with Wife and Daughter got Spaghetti Bolognese .. The pasta was Al Dente and meat sauce rich and amazing. Prime Rib was disappointing.. They Split cut for wife and myself ..There was over 50% fat in cuts... was difficult to navigate with knife anywhere and slice Ribeye.. We might have had that area that the fat strap ran and not mad as it happens with Beef. The only other anomaly was The Italian greeter/ manager went around and checked on tables around us.. Never came by and acknowledged our table.. it was 5:30 and not super busy..Nor did server ask us after entrees served come Back... I miss those days when spending $300 plus for two adults and one child.. Would create a value for establishment... I believe this was 7 out of 10... but small tweaks would make it 9 out of 10.

First time diners and we loved it. Had 5 different sushi rolls and some special rice and all was fresh and delicious. The energy there was so positive and we enjoyed the whole scene.

Amazing as always! We make it a point to come to Jake’s every time we are in the city. The Wings and Broccolini are amazing! Service is usually a touch slow but that’s only because they are always busy!
