The Bistro is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, right next door to Biltmore's award-winning winery. Please be aware that you must have a valid paid estate admission ticket, be staying at Inn on Biltmore Estate or Village Hotel, or be a Biltmore Annual Passholder to dine on property. Please note that due to limited seating availability we are unable to accept reservations for our patio. All patio seating is assigned on a first come first served basis. The Bistro features contemporary American fare. Fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients are the focus on the dinner menu, which features premium steaks, impeccable mountain trout and seafood, poultry and lamb.     I was visiting Asheville and it was my first time at Blackbird. The risotto I had was delicious, the server was attentive but not at all intrusive and it was delightful overall.

    We had a number of appetizers and made it a grazing meal. Everything we had was outstanding. We shared the soup of the day which was a curried coconut and chickpea soup, delicious. We also had brussel sprouts which my husband won't usually eat but actually enjoyed them. We had mushrooms, pork belly and gnocchi too. There was nothing we had that made us regret our choices. I just ate too much because it was so good. The wine choices by the glad are really good too. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We'll go back for sure

    Once again enjoyed a great meal at Mehfil. Raj and the entire staff are always warm and welcoming and that goes along with some of the best Indian food I can find anywhere. Enjoyed taking my oldest son who loves Indian food. He stated that he can never eat another biryani dish without thinking about Mehfil. Thank You!
