- CCherylSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoA luxurious experience with a delicious and innovative menu. As a vegan, my husband especially appreciated the creativity to bring “seafood” to the fore. The caviar plate delighted us with the combination of pickled shallots, capers, fresh herbs and the surprisingly decadent finger lime crème fraiche. Each dish was beautifully composed and well balanced, highlighting very unique ingredients: chiogga beets, Okinawa sweet potatoes, kinome leaf, tamarillos. Wine pairings were perfect. Hope we come back to DC soon so we can experience the changing menu.More infoElizabeth'sPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Downtown•4.9
- LLindsayVIPPhiladelphia County •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a table for 8 in a little niche and suspect that the tables in the open would have been much louder as it’s a bit packed. 90% of the food was delicious! Guacamole was stunning; diced tomatillos added texture and flavor without any heat in the mild version. Two of us that usually pass on guac were blown away. we had the brunch menu, and huevos rancheros had a salty queso fresco in cubes, which I had never seen like that. Huaraches with steak were fabulous, my daughter loved her lengua taco, which are hard to find on a menu. The caldo tlalpeño was only ok for me; I wanted it to be limey and mild like i remember from Taxco but it was more Mexico City style with chiles. The only disappointment was the churros; none of us loved them. Not enough cinnamon and a texture that was meh. There were some more exotic desserts like a multi layer chocolate pastel with flan and a fruited tres leches that maybe we should have tried.More infoOyamelPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Penn Quarter•4.7
- CCherieVIPPhoenix / Arizona •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoImpeccable! Cannot wait to go again to try some more of the menu. We had baba ghannouge, fries with labneh, smoked beet salad, mujadara, imam bayildi, garides me anitho, lamb baharat and lamb kelftiko. Every single dish had a perfectly- balanced complexity of flavors that made want to sing. The food has inspired me to attempt some of these dishes at home.More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- NNicoleVIPPittsburgh •36 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThis was a great experience. From the time we walked in until we left the staff were considerably, attentive, and extremely nice. The energy is inviting. The open kitchen was a nice addition to the experience filling the room with warmth. The menu was clearly designed with deep thought and intention. Would highly recommended.More infoThe DabneyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Shaw•4.7
- JJulieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Dec 2024There was a private event that required we be seated in a private dining room that was cozy and comfortable. Despite this huge event happening, our service by Gustavo was incredibly attentive and timely. What a warm and wonderful human being! Chef Todd Gray always manages to hire the best staff out there. They are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and caring about their work. The food is always scrumptious and top notch. Equinox is our go-to plant-based restaurant for sure. It's always a celebration of food, love, ambience, and fabulous service. We adore it there.More infoEquinox - DCPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
