Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. Very happy with both the food and the environment here! Our server Brandon was super friendly and helpful with explaining the menu, and the food was delicious. My partner and I both agreed that it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! The salmon and the pork chops were both incredible, thanks again Alcove.

What a fun place! Great service. One of the best charcuterie boards I’ve ever seen. So plentiful. We shared the catch of the day. My goodness it was tasty. Apple cake for dessert did not disappoint! Cocktails were well balanced and delicious!
